Rural Action will be holding the 6th Annual Landowners Conference on June 5– 6, 2004 at Camp Oty’Okwa , located in the scenic Hocking Hills region of Southeast Ohio .

The opening remarks, "Cutting it up: Challenges Created by land development and parcelization" will be by John Dorka, Jaral Hilton, and Jonathan Sowash on Friday June 4th, from 6:30-8 p.m.
Join these and many other speakers and presenters to learn about innovative forest management planning, forest biodiversity, and small business development "ideas to income" and "value added" approaches. This event is part of Rural Action's approach of working with communities to revitalize the region. This will be an interesting and informative weekend of workshops, hikes and hands-on demonstrations aimed at helping you to make the most of your land for you and your family. This event will provide you with an opportunity to learn from other landowners who have tried new ventures to supplement their incomes while maintaining the ties to their land. Children ages 7 and up may attend for a reduced cost.
Registration is required. The cost for the conference is $80 for Rural Action members and $95.00 for non-members. Registration includes 2 nights lodging, meals and snacks and all sessions. For more information please contact:
