This event is a chance for folks who are building the region’s new economy from the ground up to come together and connect! The Central Appalachian Network invites economic development practitioners, community change makers, funders and investors, experts, and other stakeholders to our Regional Peer-to-Peer Convening. The purpose of this convening is to:
- Inform and advance collaborative regional strategies in the sectors of clean energy, creative placemaking, and food and agriculture systems.
- Cultivate peer-to-peer sharing and learning based on the work on the ground in these sectors and beyond.
- Encourage attendees to engage with cross-cutting issues impacting community economic development and economic transition work.
- Expand connections, relationships, trust, and partnerships across the broader Appalachian transition movement.
