Join Central Appalachian Network and ReImagine Appalachia for a new webinar series from May – October that will explore disaster resiliency in Appalachia.
In this first webinar, we’ll discuss the basics of disaster resiliency. What are the key areas communities should consider as they explore ways that we can be more prepared for natural disasters like flooding and wildfires? We’ll hear from regional experts and people with on the ground experience with planning, surviving, and recovering from disasters.
This webinar will also include information on the new mini-grant program mentioned above that aims to increase capacity for local communities to implement disaster resilience planning and programming.
