How can we help you?

CAN is a network of networks of nonprofits that do economic development work through Central Appalachian – find out more here.

CAN has 8 Working Groups that are key elements of the Network. The Working Groups meet once a month which advances priority sectors in the region to build capacity, foster peer learning, and implement collaborative strategies. Learn how to get involved here.

The most common way to enter the “CAN-iverse” is through participating in a Working Group meeting. Each of CAN’s eight Working Groups meet monthly and are led by two Co-chairs and a coordinator. Learn more here.

Our Community Resilience & Adaptation Working Group has organized a resource hub that contains information curated for use in the region to cut through the noise and allow our communities to move towards implementation and resilience building. This toolkit is organized topically by potential users and is focused on those resources that are ready for implementation by communities, local businesses, households, farmers, and other organizations. Resources are all publicly available. Visit the CARE Hub.
